“If some people don't like funk music then it's just the wrong time for them. They will get it. It's addictive.” – George Clinton.

WE BELIEVE THE SAME APPLIES TO COFFEE, BUT ONLY IN CERTAIN CONTEXTS. Funky coffees are delicious and completely fine, as long as they carry depth under the processing HAHAHA. Introducing Wbeimar Lasso, she’s got depth for sure.

This coffee was grown by Wbeimar Lasso at the farm Las Terrazas. This coffee was carefully hand-picked in order to select only the ripest cherries and then hand sorted to remove any defects. The coffee was sundried on raised beds in temperature controlled conditions until the ideal moisture content is achieved.

This microlot is 100% Bourbon. This varietal is a natural mutation of the Coffee Arabigo. The name Bourbon was given after an island now called Reunion, off the coast of Madagascar.

BLACK CURRANTS, right off the first sip. Very deep and refined sweetness of black currant, followed by the subtle funk and booziness of a very good Kentucky Bourbon. We’re enjoying it so far, and then she gives us the sweetness and slight tang of prunes, followed by the finish of cacao nibs. Dynamically brilliant, this coffee.
