Flip x Jon Ceramics Sensory Cup

Something we’ve been working on for a long time now, and glad to say we’re done! Finally, we’ve got our own Sensory Cups. 

Those of y’all who have been with us since the start, you guys know that we’re all about serving up the best we can in coffee. There’s a few aspects that come into play for us to do that. First and foremost, the coffee itself. We do our due diligence to source for coffees that we’d be proud to represent, coffees of great quality. Another aspect would be the environment, vibes are everything. We crafted the vibe in the Pocket to really make the coffee experience special to each and every one, down to the service and even the music. For a long time, we’ve been thinking about our very own sensory cup. A cup that elevates the drinking experience and the perception of flavours in the coffees that we serve. 

And thanks to Jon Foo, our dear friend from Jon Ceramics, we’ve done it. 

Introducing our dual lipped sensory cups, masterfully hand-made by Master Jon. Very seductive and sexy, the shape of the cups aids in the evaluation of aroma. The cup also features 2 lips of different thickness. We enjoy the thinner lip to assess flavours and clarity and sweetness, and the thicker lip for mouthfeel, body and aftertaste.
